Our Bestselling Craft Beers (May 2024)

Our Bestselling Craft Beers (May 2024)

May 2024 was the first full month of Space Craft Beer after we opened the store in late April. While we're continuing to quickly learn lessons to make our store the best it can be, we thought we'd take a quick break to tell you about our top five best-selling craft beers of May 2024.

(As a side note, we've gone for the number of times ordered over total orders as that seems like a far more representative way of seeing which beers are your favourites.)

Track Brewing - Reality Gold Top (DIPA)

It's been a great month of releases that began with another barnstorming Gold Top release, a series that never seemingly fails and gets us excited for every new brew.

Lots of Nectaron goodness in this one and it's a beer we personally love (as do you, apparently) and it has that stone fruit flavour. There's also 8.4% ABV apparently but you'll never find it from tasting it.

I wonder if there may be another Gold Top beer that makes this list?

Track Brewing - Dreaming Of... DDH Galaxy

The Manchester brewery also takes second place with another of popular beers, this time one from the single-hop-focused Dreaming of... series.

This is a new-and-improved re-brew of the DDH Galaxy which is very different to the Gold Top we just talked about. Far more earthy and piney tasting with a bit more bitterness that suits it well while still being juicy and easily drinkable.

We love this single-hop showcase.

Vault City Lemon, Grapefruit, Pineapple (Radler)

Vault City – Lemon, Grapefruit, Pineapple Radler

We thought the new Staggeringly Stoopid would end up on this list from the Vault City beers we got last month. Apparently not as the radler has outsold it so far.

But with the sun (mostly) out and a bargain price of just £2.25, it's perfect summer drinking so it should come as no surprise.

Vault City describes it as a 'fruity fusion of zesty lemon, tangy grapefruit, and sweet pineapple' and that sums it up pretty perfectly. Probably the only thing to worry about for this one is that you might forget it's not a soft drink and open one up for breakfast.

Rivington Move the Country IPA

Not far down the road from us is Rivington Brewery which is fortunate because they're one of the best breweries in the country

Speaking of country, this Move to the Country IPA is another example of how Rivington has pretty much mastered the art of a great IPA. Citra and Nelson Sauvin is always a winning combination so you get that citrus and grapefruit taste coming through.

Plus, we love that Rivvy also uses 500ml cans.

Track A Different Age Gold Top DIPA

Another Gold Top! This one only came in towards the end of the month and started selling well straightaway.

As we would expect really. Firstly, we sell them at a ridiculously good price and second, it's another banger in a long series of bangers.

Thick, smooth, and creamy as all of these Gold Tops always are, this one has loads of mango flavours that make it go down easily. You'll want a second one and for me personally, I prefer it to the Reality Gold Top.

A dominant display from Track for our first Bestsellers list. We'll see if they can defend their crown in June.
